Veterans are reminded that when you are eligible for Medicare, you should sign up for all parts as your VA benefits only cover service related issues and if you are carrying other medical insurance when you become medicare eligible it possibly will default to a secondary policy. Talk to your insurance carrier for more information.

VA Insurace qualifies under Obamacare



With Obamacare penalties to kick in at some point if you do not have insurance, Veterans may register with the VA and that should count as insurance so you will not be subject to a non-insurance penalty. This applies to all veterans whether or not you served out of the country.You don’t have to have retired.
